Hey there! I’m Samantha Saversky, founder of Sweet Plvnts and a proud Rochester, NY native!
I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen since I was about 11 years old, tinkering with recipes, burning the occasional batch of cookies, and falling completely in love with the joy of feeding others. With over 15 years of experience in food service, baking, and vegetable gardening, I’ve turned my lifelong passion into a certified micro-bakery rooted in nostalgia, community care, and New York’s freshest flavors.
Sweet Plvnts was built on the belief that food should be inclusive, accessible, educational, and fun. Every cookie, muffin, and brownie is made in small batches with big love, bringing you treats that are fresh, flavorful, and full of heart.
But Sweet Plvnts isn’t just about what’s on the table! It’s about who’s gathered around it. Community care is at the center of everything we do. From organizing neighborhood clean-ups and sharing gardening tips, to hosting cozy community hangouts, we’re all about creating spaces where folks can connect, grow, and support each other.
I draw inspiration from the changing seasons, homegrown ingredients, and the cozy, nostalgic bakes we all remember from childhood.
Whether you’re picking up a sweet surprise for your bestie, stocking up for a brunch table, or just treating yourself (you deserve it!), I want every bite to feel like a hug from your favorite person.
As a queer-run, LGBTQIA+ friendly business, Sweet Plvnts is a celebration of food, flavor, and community. I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s bake something beautiful together.
